Nicole George with Premier Property Solutions takes it to the next level in this month’s issue!

Extremely driven, Nicole George has never been the type to sit back and let life circumstances dictate her success. A REALTOR® and Broker/Owner of Premier Property Solutions, Nicole has made it a point to create opportunity, which has secured her place at the top of the Charlotte real estate market. In just six years, Nicole sold $84 million on her own—but she didn’t stop there. As an ambitious business-owner focused on the big-picture, in 2015, Nicole established her company, Premier Property Solutions. “I am always thinking of how I can take things to the next level, for my team and my clients,” she tells us. Hitting her mark, Premier Property Solutions is closing in on $142 million in total sales volume.
Nicole’s outgoing personality and positive attitude towards life have given her a gift she hadn’t anticipated—a bigger family! She found her biological siblings on Facebook when she was 21 years old, and she reached out. “I’m not a shy person,” she says, “and looking back, I wasn’t afraid of rejection. I understand that you can only control what you can, and that’s helped me make decisions moving forward in life.”
Ironically, Nicole’s brother, Josh Short, was already gravitating towards real estate sales in Miami when they connected. “Adding him to the team was a natural choice for me,” Nicole says. “We are very similar; we are committed, servant-minded individuals who like to focus on enhancing other peoples’ lives, both personally and professionally.”
Josh is now a Top Producer on the Premier Property Solutions team. “Nicole is a powerful force in the real estate world,” Josh tells us. “As my sister, I see her for her kind, warm heart. In business, she is a top-notch professional—highly intelligent and accomplished. I have the highest level of respect for her.”
An Atlanta native, Nicole made Charlotte home when she moved to attend Johnson & Wales University. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree and was the International Collegiate DECA President in 2009-2010. “Charlotte has a strong sense of community and a great culture of embracing new people,” says Nicole. “I fell in love with this city and never wanted to leave.”
After working in sales and management for five years at the Charlotte Athletic Club, Nicole made the switch to launch her career in real estate. “I’d always loved helping people at a high level, and I saw how quickly Charlotte was growing,” she explains. “Real estate was a natural combination of my business management and consultation skills.”
Approaching real estate with an ‘owner’ mindset versus a ‘sales’ mentality gave Nicole an edge above the competition. “My dad always taught me to be an entrepreneur and to think big,” she smiles. With a focus on systems and high-level service procedures similar to those found in corporations, the structure of Premier Property Solutions has afforded a one-to-one balance between REALTORS® and administrative staff, all of whom are licensed in both North and South Carolina.
“This isn’t a one-person show,” says Nicole. “Our clients have a whole team at their disposal before, during, and after the sale. We give everyone a Ritz Carlton experience while fiercely representing them, making sure our clients get what they deserve. Premier Property Solutions is a community of people who bring others together. We regularly make care-calls and stay in touch. If there’s a way to help, we will. Our team wants to be thought of for any real estate need, hands down, but we also like to build long-term relationships with our clients outside of the business.”
Premier Property Solutions regularly hosts client appreciation events such as Panther’s tailgates, holiday parties, and Girls’ Night Outs. Keeping up with the digital world, they also host virtual events like Trivia Nights on Facebook and Zoom parties. “We’ll use any platform we can to stay connected to people, who are the heart of what we do,” Nicole says. “We consistently take the time to scrutinize our systems to make them as precise as possible, so we can keep our service level high while adapting to any climate in the future. We’ve streamlined our business model and made our systems even more efficient. We’re intentional about everything we do.”
