Headquartered out of Toronto, Canada, Empire’s entry into Charlotte marks their third expansion into the United States, having established in town and suburban communities across Atlanta, Georgia; and Houston, Austin, and San Antonio, Texas. “We’re proud to enter the Charlotte market and are committed to enriching our homeowners’ way of life through purposeful home designs and a personalized homebuying experience,” says Sue MacKay, Senior Vice President of Corporate Marketing. “We realize that the role homebuyers play in creating happy, healthy communities is a big one, and we thrive on being able to make a difference creating some of the best communities to live in.”
Empire’s communities in Charlotte range from townhomes to single-family homes. Lucent, Landings at NoDa, and West End Towns make up their townhome communities in Charlotte, with homes starting from the mid $300’s and ranging from 1,344 sq. ft. to 2,351 sq. ft. Single-family communities include Belle Gove in Marvin; McLean in Belmont; Oldenburg in Waxhaw; Summerwood in Mint Hill; and Enclave at Massey in Fort Mill, SC. Detached homes range from 1,987 sq. ft. to 6,054 sq. ft. and start from the mid $300’s up to the mid $700’s.

Empire also offers a Design + Build program for custom homes with a wide range of services to guide homeowners through the process of building custom, from selecting the perfect floor plan to choosing the finishes that’ll beautifully pull the home together at their impressive 3,900 sq. ft. design studio. The program is available in Charlotte and its surrounding neighborhoods, including Weddington, Fort Mill, and Lake Norman.
