The first step to problem-solving is fact-finding, and REALTOR® Brandi Williams is an expert at doing both. Since obtaining her license five years ago, she’s developed a reputation for having all the answers, offering solutions, and providing clients with an outstanding education in real estate. Today, she’s the part-owner of a highly successful team and individually sold close to $10 million in 2021.
“I love gathering facts and doing research,” Brandi says. “I like to have as much knowledge as possible before moving forward. And that’s what I give to my clients. Our team does a great job educating people throughout the real estate process so they know what to expect and there are no surprises. We discuss everything, so our clients feel empowered, prepared, and comfortable when signing a contract. Our goal is to give every client the same level of education they might find in a first-time homebuyers class, and that gives them a competitive edge in today’s fast-paced market.”
A self-described “North Carolina girl,” Brandi grew up in Greensboro. She went to Raleigh for college, attended North Carolina State, and graduated with a sociology degree. Brandi then moved to Charlotte to work in retail sales. When she was ready to purchase her first home, Brandi took a real estate class to help her learn everything she could about the process before making any decisions. After that, she continued to work full-time in retail sales before taking a position in HOA management.
“I hated it,” Brandi laughs. “The monotony of HOA was not for me. And I finally realized that I’m not meant to work for other people. So I sold my townhome to have a nest egg and came into real estate full-time. It was so much more exciting! Every day was different, and I got to help people in a way that was bigger than me. So, in September of 2016, I decided to become full-time REALTOR® and never looked back.”
Brandi started as a single agent with Keller Williams Ballantyne and was a Rising Star by her second year. She credits her coach, Regina Polk, with helping her see past self-limiting beliefs: “I’d take ideas to Regina, and she’d say, ‘This sounds great, but what if we double that? How can we do more with less?’ Regina helped me understand that our level of success is often greater than we think.”
Paying it forward, Brandi became a coach herself in 2018 and has excellent tips for new agents. “Leverage as soon as possible,” she says. “That doesn’t always mean hiring. It could mean automating systems or leveraging people already in place. Then manage your time well, set standards with your clients, and don’t try to work 24/7, or you will get burned out. After 9 p.m., nothing happens in real estate that can’t wait until the morning. Finally, be authentically you. It takes way too much time and energy trying to be like someone else. Run your business in ways that come naturally to you, then do those things at the highest level.”
Problem-solving comes naturally to Brandi, and she loves using her resources to show people how to move forward in any circumstance. Clients know her to be a straight shooter who always has the numbers and statistics they need to make informed decisions. “I encourage people to make choices based on facts, not feelings,” Brandi says. “Everyone should be confident as they move forward in a transaction.”
In 2019, Brandi took a confident step and started a team with two other operating partners. “The three of us came together to talk about how we could do more with less, and that was the beginning of Premier Home Advisors powered by Keller Williams,” she says. “Our culture prioritizes God, family, and community – in that order. Today, we’ve built an incredible team of seven professionals who have similar values and standards. At every closing, we donate to the nonprofit of our client’s choice to give back in a way that honors them.”
While Brandi’s team has more than doubled its size, she’s increased her family as well. Brandi’s “baby” used to be her little 12-year-old dog, Bella. Now, Bella has a new title. She’s “Big Sister” to Brandi’s adorable baby boy, born earlier this month. You can follow the family on Instagram, @bmw_soldit. “I finally found the balance between working hard and having the lifestyle I want,” Brandi smiles. “I’m going to raise a little entrepreneur and teach him he can do anything he desires. And I plan to demonstrate that every day by showing him the freedom that comes from owning a business where you do meaningful work and truly enjoy your time.”
